Cloughjordan Circus Club

Cloughjordan Circus Club is a youth and social circus project based in rural Tipperary, Ireland. The project offers an alternative social and creative outlet to children and young people aged 8 – 25 years, promoting social connections, creative expression and physical wellbeing through inclusive, participatory circus arts.

We run a year round programme of weekly circus workshops, teaching skills such as juggling, diabolo, hula hoop, stiltwalking, unicycle, tightwire, acro and have classes for Beginners, Juniors and Teens. We meet in St Kieran’s Hall in Cloughjordan on Mondays!

Our programme includes annual performance projects, regular holiday camps, weekend masterclasses with visiting tutors as well as opportunities to engage with the wider youth circus community in Ireland through projects like the Irish Youth Circus Gathering and trips to events such as Festival of Fools, Belfast.

We are also running a programme of Outdoor Wire Walking Workshops as part of our Wires Crossed initiative.
