CirKusKus is the first school of new circus in Slovakia, based in Bratislava. As a non-profit organisation, we have been working in the field of youth circus pedagogy since 2013, with students aged from 3 to 80 years old. We also organise circus summer camps and a festival “World Circus Day”. Teachers working in the organisation see circus as a tool for change, so in their circus pedagogy they promote a safe environment, improvement of the motoric, social, artistic skills and aim to give tools for personal development, encouraging cooperation and self-awareness.
