13 June 2015 – Galway, Ireland

Ireland’s first ever seminar on the power and possibility of circus arts in a community and social setting. It will be held here in the circus space of Galway Community Circus in St. Joseph’s Community Centre, Shantalla on Saturday June 13 and will feature presentations, panels and workshops from an international group of circus practitioners.

These circus artists, trainers, and scholars will share their methods and experiences of using circus arts to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and abilities. The seminar will culminate with a very special circus show; “Kalevala” performed by Piipoo Family Circus, a Finnish organisation for families and young people with disabilities and a passion for circus.

It will be a really fun, enlightening and educational day, an event not to be missed.
